Summary:The paper deals with the evaluation of the quality of electronic communications services that provide technical background for e-learning systems in the environment of the NGA (Next Generation Access) communications networks. The text is mostly analytical. Firstly, it explains the basic principles and technical capabilities of the NGA networks. Then it examines e-learning as an application area and its individual forms (including services). In in more if focuses on the relationship between selected e-learning forms and the demands for data transmission including its implementation by particular electronic communications services with specific requirements for qualitative parameters.
