Summary:Aimed at promoting the engineering applications of risk-based maintenance, a design scheme of weak link identification system for transmission grid is proposed. The equipment-grid relevance model established by CIM data analysis and association set decomposition is a major innovation of the system. This model can coordinate the functional dependence among different devices, which helps to formulate more efficient overhaul schedules. Operational risk caused by association set outage is evaluated based on outage model, contingency screening and load shedding optimization. The evaluation results are used to identify weak links and guide maintenance schedules. It is proved in the application case that the proposed system not only helps the maintenance department, but also reduces the burdens of operation dispatching.
