Summary: | Operating in islanded mode and optimizing energy management are desirable features of microgrids. However, this represents a challenge for the system operator that must guarantee a reliable and efficient operation. Thus, this paper presents a model to perform the optimal energy management of a microgrid, including frequency and voltage restoration. To solve this model an interior point algorithm was implemented. Two test systems were simulated to show the potential benefits that can be achieved through droop parameters optimization. Finally, some advantages and limitations of the model are discussed. |
