Summary: | The paper focuses on the braking torque control of road electric vehicles. Recommendations are issued regarding hierarchical system topology with torque allocation between electric and hydraulic brakes and the accurate accounting of the hybrid energy storage. Equally fast and safe braking is offered with maximal energy recovery on different roads, from dry to icy, without locking and skidding even in critical situations. Several parts of the system were explored in case studies that ensured their validity. |
