Summary: | In this paper, a broadband linear-to-circular (LTC) polarization conversion anisotropic metasurface is simulated and investigated. The unit cell of the proposed metasurface contains an outer C-shaped ring with a metallic circular patch in the center. A linearly polarized normally incident wave is converted into circularly polarized reflected wave for 3dB axial ratio (AR) in the frequency range of 15.26-18.70GHz. Moreover, LTC polarization conversion efficiency is above 90% within the frequency band of 16-18GHz. The designed metasurface has potential applications in polarization control microwave devices. |
