A Mathematical Simulation of Light Transmission in Multi-Layered Tissue During Infrared Neural Stimulation
A Monte Carlo model has been developed to simulate light transmission in tissue. The maximum temperature increase is 0.1°C, which effectively stimulate and won't hurt tissue when pulse energy is 25 μJ/mm 3 , wavelength is 0.185μm.
