Summary:The article provides a brief description of filter compensating device connection technique. Optimization methods comparative analysis and active power losses system analysis are described. An analytical expression to determine the consumers making the largest contribution to the total active power losses is obtained. The results of the simulation, as well as the algorithm developed by the authors for determining the connection points of filter compensating devices are given.
