Summary: | When calculating the electric motor drive of transporting vehicles, in particular, conveyor systems, operating at random input cargo flows, the following parameters of cargo flows at different time intervals are of great importance: the conveyor belt rate of loading, performance, mass of the transported bulk material, etc. In order to determine these parameters, it is expedient to use an automatic measuring system that allows performing noncontact determination of the conveyor belt loading and the cargo flow parameters based on a statistical pulsation measuring method. This system in combination with the variable-frequency principle of electric motor drive control allows increasing the belt-type conveyor energy efficiency. |
