Summary: | the modern aircraft simulator industry requires a highly detailed visualization of the terrain and conformity with the real surface of the Earth. The terrain model for an aircraft-training complex consists of a set of data layers that form functional dependencies for representing simulated objects. The objects are mapped on the Earth reference ellipsoid relative to geographic coordinate systems. The data in cartographic projections are used for creating model objects, which makes the process of resource preparation more complicated. The developed techniques of creation and storage of geo-data resources improve the efficiency of formation of realistic terrain models for aircraft-training complexes. |
