Description
Summary:The present work has been performed in order to analyze and reduce the problems encountered during operation of the energy systems, especially during the phase change of the working fluid which affects not only the efficiency and productivity but also the stability and the safety of these systems. Thus, the bubble dynamic behavior in subcooled flow boiling under different operating conditions such as system pressure, mass flux and different channel diameter has been numerically simulated by adopting the coupled Level Set and Volume of Fluid (CLSVOF) method in ANSYS Fluent 15 in combination with the mass and the energy transfer models by using the user-defined functions (UDFs). The numerical models implemented in this simulation have been validated from the comparison of the present computational results with the experimental results and a very good agreement has been found which proving the capacity of this simulation.
