description | Very High Frequency Data Exchange System (VDES) is the next generation of maritime emergency communication system standards. The increased rate and limited spectrum pose significant challenges to the design of VDES systems. In order to overcome the impact of frequency offset in maritime wireless communication, this paper designs a frame structure of multicarrier VDES system based on FMT technology. Using the frame structure proposed in this paper, a multi-carrier joint frequency offset estimation method based on water injection algorithm is proposed. The simulation results under Rayleigh fading conditions show that the joint estimation of multi-carriers will improve the accuracy of frequency estimation. As the signal-to-noise ratio increases, the performance gain of multi-carrier joint estimation is further improved. In addition, the frequency offset estimation accuracy also increases as the number of subcarriers increases. |
