Description
Summary:This paper deals with the practical implementation of digital control systems with random but bounded internet delays. First, we consider two cases in which the stochastic communication delays exit from sensor to controller (S-C) and controller to actuator (C-A), which are modeled as a markov process. Although the focus is on design of mode-dependent controller which depends on networked induced delays, but we also compare mode-dependent and mode-independent controller with each other. Seconds, the condition for analysis and design of output feedback controller is obtained as Bilinear Matrix Inequality (BMI) which is solved by a sequence of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). Additionally, we also study the influence of the increase in time-delay on system satability. Then we apply the results to a control system with actual delay characteristics obtained from real measurements in the internet. Finally, simulation examples are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method
