Summary: | Buck-derived three-phase rectifiers are attractive alternatives for low-output voltage and high-power applications. In this paper, three-phase buck-derived rectifiers with one-cycle control are proposed. Conventional sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) often requires large output inductor in order to achieve low current distortion. With one-cycle control, the input current can be controlled to follow the sinusoidal reference in each switching cycle; therefore, low current distortion can be achieved even if the output current has large ripple when a small output inductor is used. All findings are supported by experimental results. |
