Summary: | In this paper, a methodology to evaluate the protection characteristics of transmission line terminals with pilot scheme is proposed. Macros were developed for the Computer-Aided Protection Engineering (CAPE). The proposed macros reduce the rate of incorrect disconnections caused by errors during usual relay settings procedure, and reduce the time-consuming protection studies. Significant improvements were achieved for the logic evaluation of the pilot scheme weak infeed. |
