Estimation of Bound Water Ratio in Extracellular Matrices using Terahertz Time-Domain Spectroscopy

Terahertz time domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) can be effective evaluation method of tissue-engineered (TE) cartilage. As initial stage, we measured gelatin gel as a simple model of cartilage by THz-TDS and estimated the bound water ratio in gelatin gel by dielectric relaxation study.
