Summary: | The reliability of the power transformers is significant for the safe and stable operation of the power system. On-line condition monitoring and real-time fault detection are the practical means to protect the power transformers from the unscheduled outage of services. An Intensive Care System (ICS) is proposed and developed. It's consisted of an earthing current monitoring subsystem, a PD ultrasonic monitoring subsystem, and a PD UHF monitoring subsystem. All subsystems constitute a team. Each subsystem can not only perform its measurement and analysis tasks but also cooperate with other subsystems to complete a more comprehensive analysis. Besides, ICS can also communicate with external systems to acquire more information for the association analysis. Thus, ICS can assess the condition and diagnose the faults of power transformer more accurately. |
