Description
Summary:GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) system - first digital cellular standard to provide efficient transmission of voice and data over the network. In present time, there are worldwide more than 2 billion subscribers of GSM (2G) technology. GSM system is based upon TDMA and FDMA, so time and frequency synchronization play a very crucial role in proper operation of this technology standard In this research paper, we proposed optimal techniques for Frequency Correction Channel Burst (FB) detection and Synchronization Channel Burst (SB) detection. After the time and frequency synchronization the next stage involves demodulation and decoding to provide sensitive information about frame number (FN) and Base Station Identity Code (BSIC) and consecutively to decode, system parameters information involved.
