Summary: | This Research-to-Practice WIP paper presents a procedural evaluation module for educational digital games. Process evaluation is considered an ongoing learning check. The fact is that the way of how, for example, digital educational games do the evaluation of learning is still reductionist and does not contemplates all forms of learning. In addition, this topic is a challenge, considered difficult and sometimes controversial, but less excluding and fairer. In this context, a bibliographical research was carried out to gather and to analyze the state of the art and related tools. Thus, this article aims to present a proposal for a procedural evaluation module, based on non-linear metrics, which are created by the teacher, in an evaluation carried out from the Serious Games from a perspective of a sociocultural theory, based on Vygotski's theory and ideas. |
