Summary: | This paper proposes the modelling of AC motors for pipe bending machine by using vector control system to control synchronous AC motors and induction motors. It was improved for high performance motor applications that are required to operate smoothly over the full speed range, generate full torque at zero speed, and have high dynamic performance consists of fast deceleration and acceleration. Despite that, it is becoming progressively tempting for lower performance applications as well due to FOC's motor size, cost and reducing power consumption superiority. In the meantime, they all advantages are becoming to use that system to get a desire shape for bending pipe precisely. This article presents the process of bending pipe at 90 degree by controlling three AC motors and the results show that position of spherical bearing of motors for each axis X Y Z and three sections. |
