Summary:RFID sensor networks are the closest technology to configure the ecosystems of internet of things. In this paper, we propose efficient dynamic slot reservation based on shortened queries and time-split responses for RFID tag anti-collision. According to the simulation results, under the circumstance achieving 100% reliability, the proposed algorithm achieves more than 50% increase in tag identification rate per second compared with both a query tree algorithm and an enhanced 16-bit random number aided query tree algorithm.
