Summary:In engineering product design, modeling and drawing design, and in the study of the law of numerical changes in real life, people often encounter the unknown geometric curve processing problems, that is, to extract the geometric curve functions contained in some discrete points by mathematical methods. This paper mainly introduces the Lagrange interpolation method and the Newton interpolation method, calculation method and the basic idea of its convergence, verified by the use of discrete point interpolation method for the feasibility of curve fitting, and combined with the practical problems of mathematics modeling method, using interpolation method in car door design, the application of curve compared the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods, make us more profound and comprehensive understanding of the interpolation method, for its future in social production, modelling design provides important application basis.
