Summary: | An unique design of patch by slight modification of conventional patch structures has been done in this paper. Semi-circular and triangular patch have been combined to form a patch having unique shape resembling a gauging trowel. A substrate of dimension 30mm×30mm×1.6mm having FR4 Epoxy as the dielectric material has been used. Copper material has been used for both patch and ground plane. To enhance the antenna, gain the circular metallic rings of uniform width have been used. Simulation has been carried out by Ansys HFSS software. From the simulation Return loss (S 11 ), VSWR, Antenna Gain, Directivity etc have been found out and a comparison is made between the perturbed patch with circular metallic rings and without circular metallic rings. |
