Summary:In this work an open-source framework is developed that extends Tools for Open Reconfigurable Computing (TORC) for the purposes of modeling, synthesizing and configuring FPGA-overlays to port designs from older devices to modern FPGAs. Our framework provides the ability for design portability between different FPGAs, opening the door to a broad range of portability, migration, and reuse.
