Summary: | Upgrading the workers' skills through adequate training is highly demanded in modern companies seeking for overall productivity and competitiveness. Currently the spread of technology-based training has fostered the development of new training approaches appositely designed for workers. In this paper, we introduce a new training platform that uses a virtual learning environment that combines virtual reality (VR) and 360 degree technologies. In particular, we focus on the problem of predicting the outcome of the workers' training based on how the workers have behaved in the virtual learning environment during their training session. To this aim, we formulate a process mining methodology that combines features engineering and classification algorithms. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology has been validated against a real use case. |
