Summary: | As one of critical parts for jet cleaning of dry ice particle cleaner, nozzle sprays the mixture of dry ice particles and compressed air onto the object surface. For the control problem of flow quantity and pressure intensity in the cleaning process, Laval nozzle models with different gears are proposed, followed by simulation of two-phase flow field via fluent simulation software and comparison of the obtained outlet jet velocities of gas phase and solid phase. The results show that as the inlet pressure intensity increases, the particle velocity will increase, and shock wave intensity will also increase proportionally. |
