Summary: | A flipped mode approach was implemented in a Communications Principles course for electronic information majors. Students were asked to preview by learning our own online course and finish the questions in the pre-class task list before class. In class, diverse activities, such as contests, discussions, unit tests and presentations, are carried out to strengthen the grasp and internalization of the knowledge for students. The results of the analysis for experiments show that, as compared to the traditional lecturing, the flipped course can make students grasp the subject solidly and further obtain higher scores in the final exam, which is attributed to the alignment of online preview of diverse learning material and face-to-face student/teacher and peer interactions in the flipped course. |
