Generating Uniform Magnetic Fields in 2-D Polygonal Regions
We describe two methods of generating a uniform magnetic field in an arbitrary 2-D polygonal region. The first method is by using electrical surface currents of locally constant current densities, and the second one is by using permanently magnetized materials with locally constant magnetizations.
