Summary: | HMBS (Hypermedia Model Based on Statecharts) is a model that is suitable for specifying highly structured hyperdocuments. HySCharts is an environment that supports the authoring of hyperdocuments based on the HMBS model. It also supports hyperdocument navigation according to a well-defined browsing semantics. In this paper, we propose three strategies for automatically deriving an HTML implementation from an HMBS hyperdocument model defined in HySCharts. The resulting implementation can thus be viewed from any standard Web browser. The strategies described for HTML code generation may be useful in other situations in which a highly structured hyperdocument needs to be published in the Web. |
