Summary: | Positioning technology has been widely used for monitoring and protecting personnel safe in substation, and there are still some problems should be settled, such as inefficient positioning precision, ineffective sensors for indoors and undergrounds. UWB (ultra-wide band) technology as the most advanced positioning approach can restrict the error range at 10cm level. In this research, a novel wearable sensor combined with UWB and face ID techniques has been designed for operation management of substation. First, two different route building methods have been discussed and the one with global intelligent planning scheme was chose to apply, then the framework of the positioning system combined with UWB and face ID has been designed with improved personnel-task connecting strategy and minimum wearable positioning label realized. The system has been applied on an indoor equipment room of the substation with effective personnel work routing management. |
