Summary:This paper presents the basic concept of using model-based testing to define and generate automated testes for automotive systems. It is described the development of model-based testing for the fuel level indication and the application of the model in the system testing. For developing the model, we define a consume curve of the fuel level and the results of the model are used in developing automated testing using an internal tool (uTAS) for the testing at the system level.
