Summary:Nowadays, the Internet of Things is a fast developing and high demanded industry. This paper presents an analysis of the power consumption of a typical IoT sub-1G device and the description of application conditions. Dependence of the bit error probability on the transmitter power and data transfer rate are experimentally obtained and represented. The experiments were carried out in presence and in absence of fading and radio interference. Based on the results obtained, conclusions about the optimal mode of operation of the device are made.
