Summary:Decoupling current control method for asymmetric dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous machine in double dq synchronous frame is proposed in this paper. Asymmetric dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous machine modeled in double dq synchronous frame contains mutual coupling components which are often considered to be challenges for current control to guarantee sufficient dynamic performance. Due to the coupling effect, conventional control method without decoupling capability utilizes with limited bandwidth to maintain the system stable. In this paper, considering the mutual coupling inductance between two sets of winding, the decoupling current controller is designed in which the self-control gains are in low-pass forms and the coupling control gains are zero with eliminating interference between dq1-dq2 axes. The design procedure of the proposed controller is addressed and the performance is investigated with the simulation result.
