Summary: | We experimentally observed electromagnetic mirror in a single-layer THz metasurface and studied the effect of incident angle on the performance. The magnetic and electric mirror performance is still maintained for incident angle up to 10º. We also observe appearance of new resonances under oblique incident angles. These resonances can lead into high transmission or reflection windows. The mirror effect weakens for incident angle greater than 10º at 0.36 and 0.51 THz. This single-layer metasurface operates in both reflection and transmission modes opens new opportunities to develop single-layer devices for beam steering in THz wireless telecommunications. |
