Summary:Chemically reacting partially-ionized plasmas of practical interest have thousands of chemical species and more than hundreds of thousands of chemical reactions. Detailed simulation of such complex plasmas requires a framework for storage, provenance, and manipulation of plasma chemical reaction data. Tech-X is currently developing an open-source framework with these capabilities (emerging from our in-house project MUNCHKIN), consisting of python scripts and C++ programs. Reaction data is stored in an SQL database for fast retrieval and manipulation.
