Summary:Cervical cancer continues to be a significant global health burden as one of the most frequently diagnosed and fatal cancers, ranking fourth in both categories globally in 2020 [1]. Although there is an effective vaccine which will hopefully reduce the future burden of cervical cancers, there remains a need for screening programs as early detection and treatment drastically improves patient outcomes.
