Summary:As the complexity of IS projects increases in the digital era, it becomes challenging to manage these projects successfully. A survey study was conducted with 179 digital transformation project leaders to examine the critical role of individual mindfulness and stewardship climate for project success in digital transformation. The outcome of the paper shows that the project management conducts exert a strong positive impact on project performance and satisfaction overall. We further point to the specific relationships for agile, waterfall, hybrid and other project methodologies. Our findings show that the project management conducts should be considered jointly in hybrid projects to improve their performance.
