Summary: | With the OADM (Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer/Remover multiplexer), it is possible to add and remove wavelengths as well as change or route them through the various nodes. the different networks. There is a main problem in ADM is the bandwidth, modulation format, and reuse wavelength, hereby, In this paper the Optisystem software simulation are used as platforms to design, test, and verified our methodology, the OADM was proposed based on metro network to getting distribution between nodes over transmission link, the presentation of the OADM analysis with four channels (193.1THz, 193.2THz, 193.3THz, and 193.4THz) at totally bandwidth of (1.6Tb/s), NRZ, and RZ coding types. Experiment one show that the average output power (-17.997dBm), the average drop power (- 17.997dBm), and the average add power (- 18.338dBm), the average gain (-0.0429dB), the average noise figure (0dB), average power input signal (10.679dBm), average of power output signal (10.633dBm), and the average output OSNR (0dB), but the second test bed showing the average output power (-24.238dBm), the average drop power (- 24.288dBm), and the average add power (- 24.753dBm), the average gain (-0.0417dB), the average noise figure (0dB), average power input signal (7.691dBm), average of power output signal (7.677dBm), and the average output OSNR (0dB). The system support four input channels, four add channels, four output channels, and four drop channels the results are acceptable after three s pans of Solitons fiber with 600Km totally length, 200km for each s pan. Nonetheless, this research study believe that it is well justified to adopting these schemes in the existing optical network with low cost for overall expenditure. |
