Multi-level Encoding and Decoding in a Wavelength-Multiplexed Photonic Tensor Processor

Photonic processors have enabled applications in machine learning and neuromorphic computing. An information encoding/decoding scheme will be critical for scalable photonic computing. We experimentally demonstrate a "multi-level" encoding/decoding scheme and operation procedures.
