Summary: | This paper presents the figure of merit of a three-phase dc/dc converter considering several transformer and rectifier arrangements. The main waveforms obtained by simulation are presented and some important characteristics are analyzed, which include the apparent power processed by the transformer, maximum reverse voltage and rms currents on the secondary-side diodes, among other aspects. The study aims at obtaining general design guidelines for power electronics engineers and experts. |
