Summary: | This paper constructs two discussion methods in HyFlex, namely group discussion in the form of peer teaching and Power Point-aided class presentations. The author(s) surveyed language learners and the instructor through semi-structured interviews and argue that while the learners are generally positive about the two discussion methods in HyFlex, teachers' guidance and topic choice have a direct influence on group discussion. Technology also affects student-to-student communication to a large extent. Based on these findings, this paper provides suggestions for improving teaching methods, encouraging student participation, and strengthening teachers' guidance in HyFlex courses. |
