Summary:Under the background of power system with "Twin Peaks" and "High Shares of Renewables and Power" (High-RE-PE), In this paper, the changes in the operating characteristics of Gansu power gridre are first analyzed, then the challenges that gansu power grid may face in the future are summarized, Finally, the management and control strategies are put forward to ensure the safe and stable operation of Gansu power grid.The research shows that the form and development path of gansu's future power system with high shares of renewables depends on the relative development pace of key technologies.
