Summary:According to the electricity consumption of Senbaru dormitory, at the University of the Ryukyus, in 2019, a proposed smart microgrid operation plan combines electric vehicles with photovoltaics and energy storage (EV-PV-ES) in parallel. The new PV arrangement type (M-shape) is used instead of the standard arrangement type (S-shape), increasing the power generation per unit area. In this article, a real-time electricity price is drawn up based on the electricity load Okinawa, Japan, in 2019. The essence is to avoid peak power consumption and improve the stability of power grid operation. This proposal uses MATLAB to establish a micro-grid operation model, combined with solar radiation and the electricity load of Senbaru dormitory, using particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to optimize the operating state of the microgrid system and obtain the optimized operation result of the microgrid. The calculation results show that the use of optimized solutions can reduce operating costs and increase overall revenue.
