Description
Summary:Transport is nearly impossible to measure in high energy-density (HED) systems and we rely on high-fidelity computational methods to determine their values. The most accurate methods become computationally expensive in HED and therefore cannot be used. Pair potential molecular dynamics provides an avenue for obtaining transport coefficients rapidly but with unknown accuracy. Our goal is to use high-fidelity simulation data to create effective pair potentials that are more accurate in the HED regime.
