Description
Summary:The purpose of this paper is to show the results obtained from novel research performed in the area of inductive-resonant wireless power transfer (WPT) safety. Traditionally a communication link between the transmitter and receiver power electronic system is required to ensure that power is delivered only to a suitable target system. This research aims to eliminate the communication hardware required to increase the system's volumetric power density and mass. Machine learning is used to perform current waveform analysis to detect the receiver's signature and enhance system safety.
