Summary: | With the rapid development of 5G technology, the new generation of wireless communication system needs to support high-speed transmission in the high-speed mobile environment and has more stringent requirements for channel estimation. The wireless communication channel will inevitably produce multipath effect and Doppler effect in high-speed mobile environment, so that the channel response will experience time-frequency dual selection fading, which will seriously affect the system performance. In this paper, we mainly study the Orthogonal Time Frequency & Space (OTFS) system based on Frequency domain pilot channel estimation method. The channel impulse response is estimated by Basis Expansion Models (BEM) combined with Linear Minimum Mean Squared Error (LMMSE) channel estimation method. Simulation analysis shows that the channel estimation method proposed in this paper can be applied to OTFS system, and has larger signal-to-noise ratio gain and improved symbol error rate performance compared with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. |
