Summary:The possibility of parametric optimization of a dihedral corner reflector of electromagnetic waves according to the criterion of achieving the maximum retransmission coefficient is considered. A systematic approach to the parametric optimization of a reflector used as part of the ground radio line of communication is proposed. In accordance with this approach, in a mathematical model describing the process of propagation of an electromagnetic wave in such a radio line, controlled parameters are determined to ensure the achievement of a given optimization criterion. The results obtained indicate a significant influence of the angle between the faces and the geometric dimensions of the reflector on its retransmission coefficient and the feasibility of such optimization taking into account the terrain.
