Summary:This paper considers the issue of identification of wear intensity of friction units of electromechanical systems in steady-state mode after the running-in stage. The knowledge of this parameter allows estimating the durability of electromechanical systems. The paper considers the main parameters influencing the wear intensity value: static pressure, pressure, caused by inaccuracy of manufacturing of friction units components, Pressure caused by vibration motions of friction units elements, bearing capacity of the lubricant. Analytical expressions for calculation of these pressures are resulted. Formulas for calculating the effective value of the dynamic peak load in the friction node in the lubricating layer breakthrough zone are deduced. The parameters of the elements contact area depending on material properties, geometrical dimensions and effective load are determined. Formulas for calculating the wear intensity taking into account the volume of wear products and the load acting in the contact, as well as an algorithm for assessing the parametric life of the electromechanical system, taking into account the knowledge of the wear intensity of friction nodes are given.
