Summary: | Results of numerical investigation of complex propagation constants in circular multilayer waveguides are presented. A model is based on the characteristic equation given in algorithmic manner and can yield the complete spectrum of the waveguides in question. As a result of the investigation, a novel type of RF/microwave evanescent mode sensor is suggested. These sensors can be used for composition control of continuous flows and have been applied for composition control of oil flows in well pipes. |
