Summary: | The use of didactic tools that allow emulating tasks that students can carry out in their future professions is usually a motivating element. Therefore, it may be interesting to incorporate new teaching methods closer to the professional work of Engineering. One of the most common professional opportunities for Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering degrees is related to the programming of embedded or integrated systems. This work consists of carrying out both the hardware design and the firmware programming through the co-design work. Students must perceive the introduction of new educational methodologies and innovative tools in the classroom as an element of motivation that will help them improve some skills. Thereby, in this contribution, a robotic platform is proposed as a didactic tool that allows students to program and design embedded or integrated systems. However, the effort of the teaching team to innovate in class can be in vain if the students do not perceive that this can help them in the learning process. Therefore, it is essential to determine the impact of using the robotic platform that allows them to emulate tasks that they will carry out in their future professions. |
