Summary:This paper presents new simulation results for the power deposition from the electron cloud in the beam screen of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). We pay particular attention to the sensitivity of the results to certain low-energy parameters of the secondary electron (SE) emission. Most of these parameters, which constitute an input to the simulation program, are extracted from recent measurements at CERN and SLAC.
